Katamari Da Vinci

Been playing a bit too much Katamari Damacy. After a while you feel like you can roll up anything you see...

Katamari Da Vinci

Greg's idea, my implementation.

*hangs head in shame* I couldn't find a very large clean version of the painting to work with - I think it was only about 700-750 pixels in the first place when I got it. And then I shrunk it down knowing I'd want it to fit on this page! So the largest version I've got now is around 600 pixels... not much bigger than you see here. Didn't even think of the whole background image thing - I'll know better next time. Maybe I'll post the slightly-bigger version when I get home.

Greg (my husband, for those of you who aren't regular readers) thinks a whole series of these would be great, so maybe we'll do a few more - but if any of the rest of you feel like rolling things up in Photoshop too, I'd love to see what you come up with!!

I already have an idea for another Katamari-altered painting: it ought to be really easy for the Prince to roll up the watches from Dalí's "Persistence of Memory"...

Thats hilarious! :^)

After playing too much Katamari I would envision giant Katamari balls rolling up everything I passed by on the road when driving.
