Not if you were the Last Person on Earth

flickr user xdjio has set up an interesting group called "The Last Person On Earth". Rules for photo submissions are simple: none of the pictures can have any people, or signs of recent people visitations such as moving cars. The idea is to create the impression that you are the last person on earth, like the dream sequence in Vanilla Sky or the start of 28 Days Later, or The Omega Man if you want to go back a bit farther.

View all the pictures as a slideshow - the cumulative effect is of a strange, peaceful loneliness. It's creepy and beautiful.
